It’s proven that motivational speakers have the power to bring change in other people’s lives. In today’s world where hectic lifestyle can take a toll on mental health, sometimes all you need is someone to have faith in your and motivate you to take the reins of your life in your own hands. Not everyone has the convincing power to do this. To make others believe in something, one needs to have a conviction of his/her own thoughts, which comes from living a fulfilled life.

Born in Detroit to a single teenage mother, he faced many hardships growing up. But instead of that experience turning him bitter, Eric built up his value system and decided to help others. Eric Thomas is not a conventional motivational speaker. He served as an academic advisor to disadvantaged students and also created an undergraduate retention program called Advantage to help minority students who are categorized as academically high-risk at Michigan State University (MSU). While he was working at the MSU, he delivered an inspiring speech to his students which changed his life. The speech was uploaded on YouTube and it went viral on the internet. This was his turning point. Today, he is one of the most popular motivational speakers and influencers on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
